A tyrant ruler of the Ryon Fi town. He has issued taxes far greater than Chun-An standards. Anyone who defies him gets sentenced to death.


He kidnapped Hyang Chun's mother Mae Wol to have her for himself. Not willing to accept such a fate, she chose to commit suicide. Witnessing the misdeeds of Yang Ban, Ryong Mong allowed Hyang Chun to exact vengeance against him.
