Though he only appears in three books, usually as little more than a description offered by Holmes, this malevolently charismatic man enjoyed enormous support thanks to his machinations in Holmes's final (later made un-final) case.
A brilliant philosopher and certified genius.

Dubbed "The Napoleon of crime" by Holmes, he established a criminal network that spanned all of Europe while working as a professor of mathematics.
According to details revealed in the original books, he served as a kind of criminal consultant.


Archer is main antagonist from Shinjuku Phantom Incident. Archer's True Name is James Moriarty. He and Bael made an alliance to obtain their own individual goals:Moriaty want to beat Holmes and Baal wants to kill Ritsuka.
