It's revealed that Kirie isn't a human, she was created by accident by a scientist who was researching the creation of artificial life. He decided to raise her but because of this new discovery he goes mad not being able to figure out if Kirie is actually human or an AI robot. He impregnates her leading to the birth of Airo Waninuma, her child and "brother".
