One of the survivors from the group inside the Exopolis Business Tower. He works as a host and his girlfriend, Ayumi, is a cabaret girl. Ryuya instigates the fight that leads to the two groups of survivors breaking apart, then assumes leadership of the third basement floor.

In a twist of fate, Ayumi is the girl that Shogo's boss was hurrying to see, causing Shogo to be stuck at work and later trapped underground.
