Jocelyn is the 20 year-old French best friend of Saku. He went to the same high school as Saku and is fluent in Japanese, though the two preferred to speak in French when they were alone. When Saku returns to Japan right after graduating, Jocelyn follows him out of curiosity to meet Ryota, whom he quickly deems not up to his standards. Jocelyn is hot-headed and possessive when it comes to Saku, and frequently gets into arguments with Ryota. Despite this, he acknowledges that Ryota is a great cook.
