About
Yusaku is an accountant who works at a clock factory in Inatake (a fictional city in Nagano Prefecture). He lives with his wife, who insists he eat bread as it's "more nutritious than rice." Thanks to this preference, he avoids eating the rice at the factory cafeteria, which poisons his co-workers. He takes it upon himself to investigate several suspicious circumstances, including the poisoning and the rumored collapse of a nearby bridge.
