As the world was sealed and split into fragments, the Water Spirit guided the Hero at several points in his journey to reclaim each land from the Demon Lord Orgodemir, such as allowing him to read the ancient language of the Roamers and helping him and his companions breathe underwater to defeat Gracos.

Arus receives numerous visions from the Water Spirit, leading him to the discovery of the first stone tablet fragment.
