Kunieda is Kaneko's friend. He used to be good friends with Hiroshi, and felt betrayed when he found out Hiroshi's true feelings. Even though he knew that Kaneko was bullying Hiroshi, Kunieda didn't intervene, and was also bullied about it when word got out.
