An 8th grade student from Hokkaido attending Shiomachi middle school along with Kaname and friends. Since arriving and Shiomachi, Ami quickly become the "main leader," or "butt-of-the-joke" for the girls at the school. Ami's visual design is defined by her sharp teeth, small strature, and long, prominent, and messy, black hair. Characterized by her sassy attitude and overall good-naturedness, Ami is described as "true to [herself], always running ahead at full throttle."
