After this incident, she had a strong rivalry with Junpei, and her sense of style changed (she wore abnormally dark make-up) but in the end, after a cat asked Junpei to thank the girl who had cared for him she went back to having a friendly relationship... Sort of. A running gag is the fact that she treats him like a slave, making him buy her cosmetics and such.
She harbors romantic feelings for her friend Junpei, yet is afraid to admit this to him, seeing that he has a crush on Kaede.
