Aubrey is one of Sunny's childhood friends, and seems to be hinted as his childhood crush. She is the strongest member of the team who can deliver big hits. Though she often argues with Kel, she is overall very expressive and encouraging towards her friends. Just as it is easy for her to express her true feelings, Aubrey can often change to strong emotions like fear and sadness fairly quickly. She often brings along Mr. Plantegg, her stuffed toy.
Following Mari's death, Aubrey's personality drastically changes; her childhood enthusiasm becomes replaced with a cold, hostile demeanor, and soon gains a reputation for being aggressive and leaves her original friend group for new ones who also become her gang followers. She puts on blue eye contacts and dyes her hair pink, the latter influenced by a childhood promise with Mari. She also carries around a baseball bat spiked with nails.
Aubrey felt left behind after her friends started to separate four years ago. Despite her new angry demeanor, she deeply cares for her childhood friends; she shows concern after accidentally pushing Basil into the water, tears up at thoughts of the past, visits Mari's grave regularly, and maintained Basil's old photos after she saw them all blacked out with marker. She even asks Sunny if he can come visit sometime after she reconciles with her original friend group.
