Richard Radford

About

Richard is a Knight of Order under the command of the Crown Prince of Altemaris and works as the bodyguard of Count Fredrick. He has a very composed and gentleman-like personality. Fredrick claims Richard to be his best friend. The Crown Prince of Altemaris, Prince Alfred, seems to consider him as a very close friend too despite of Richard being of subordinate status.

Richard was appointed by Fredrick to become Mireille's personal bodyguard during her acting as a replacement for Fredrick. He starts to see Mireille as someone really precious as she reminded him of his little sister who he got separated from him when they were young.


Richard comes from a royal lineage of a neighboring country. The only person to know his true identity is the Crown Prince. It was later revealed that Princess Cecilia is actually his little sister. Richard hid his royalty and became a knight of Altemaris in order to watch over Cecilia who had been adopted to the royal family when she was very young.

Richard starts to see Mireille differently after getting to know her more and eventually falls in love with her. Mireille, however, despite having similar feelings for him, doesn't realize that their feelings are mutual.
