About
Pip Bernadotte; a shallow, perverted and chainsmoking French mercenary. He and his squad The Wild Geese are hired by Hellsing after Hellsing lost its own troops in the Valentine attack. Bernadotte is a well experienced soldier, and fares surprisingly well against the undead he is put against.
Later in the series, he develops romantic feelings for Seras Victoria. When Zorin cuts off her arm and blinds her, Pip sacrifices himself to save her, urging her to drink from him as he dies. Seras honours this wish, and he becomes her familiar.
