BanchoLeomon is a humanoid lion who have been styled after the modern Banchou, a particular type of juvenile delinquent. The characters on the GAKU-RAN are a quote of Siddhārtha Gautama's according to Buddhist belief which read "I alone am honored in heaven and on earth."
Description:
Bancholeomon first appears to the Masaru Daimon, Tōma H. Norushutain and Yoshino
Fujieda when he takes out all the Gizumon XT sent by Akihiro Kurata. He later trains them on how to master their their D.N.A. and their mega forms. After they succefully completed their training he points them towards the Sacred City.
He also appears in the real word later on and explains to Masaru about how Burst mode can be a double edged weapon as it can grant great power but also destruction, as seen when Masaru used his Burst Mode while being fueled by his negative emotions.
Later on in the series we learn that BanchoLeomon has met Suguru Daimon, Masaru Father, when he was looking for Yggdrasil. The two fought in a battle that ended much like Masaru's and Agumon's. They traveled together to find Yggdrasil, upon their travels they encountered Royal Knights member Craniamon, they fought were Bancholeomon was able to disarm him in his Burst Mode, then Yggdrasil appeared as such it would appear they were able to make peace between the two words, but Kurata attacked the Digital World as such Suguru was imprisoned. When Suguru bet his life that it would not happen again, BanchoLeomon stood up for him and Yggdrasil gave Spencer another chance. BanchoLeomon was there when news about Merukimon's deletion at the hands of Gizumon XT reached King Drasil. When the other Royal Knights members surrounded Suguru to execute him, BanchoLeomon jumped in the way and punched Suguru himself, and part of Suguru soul was transferred into BanchoLeomon before Ygddrasil took his body.
