It is assumed that she joined EXPG Yokohama sometime in 2015, having been first seen in articles and images around that time. During her time at EXPG, it has been seen that she also took vocal lessons, as well as had performances with Toa. She has also been seen attending classes with ITO, a dance teacher who is often seen with Girls2.
Rina started out her career as Sarai in Secret x Heroine Phantomirage in 2019, acting as an antagonist and important supporting character. She later returned to the Girls x Heroine series in 2020 as a main character for Police x Heroine Lovepatrina, reprising her character. Aside from being a part of the cast, she was a member of the idol unit they released through the series called Lovely2. Activities with the group lasted for a year.
She's now a member of Lucky2.
